Estimates are informational
Our estimator produces figures from the Social Security Administration's published benefit formula and typical earnings for your income range. They are for research purposes only — they are not a benefits determination, a promise of eligibility, or a prediction of any claim's outcome. Your actual benefit depends on your full earnings record, which only the SSA has.
We are not a law firm or a government agency
DisabilityPayGuide is a research and referral service. We do not give legal advice, represent claimants, or decide claims. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Social Security Administration or any government agency. If you are connected with a disability advocate or law firm through this site, any representation agreement is between you and them, and we do not guarantee their conduct or your claim's outcome.
Case-review requests and consent
If you submit a case-review request, you are asking us to share your information with the companies identified in the consent language on the form, who may contact you by phone, text, or email. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is handled and how to opt out.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape the site at abusive volumes, submit false case-review requests, or use the service to harvest data about others.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME] is not liable for decisions made in reliance on estimates, for the acts of advocates or law firms you are connected with, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. We may update them; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
