Who we are

DisabilityPayGuide.com ("we", "us") is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], a California-based business. We help people research Social Security disability benefits and, when you ask us to, connect you with disability advocates or law firms for a case review. We are not a law firm, we do not give legal advice, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Social Security Administration or any government agency.

What we collect

  • Estimator inputs — the selections you make in our benefits estimator (age group, income range, work history, and where you are in the application process). These are not tied to your identity unless you submit a case-review request or email yourself an estimate.
  • Contact information — if you request a case review, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code, together with your estimator answers.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and any analytics we use.

Because this site is about disability benefits, your estimator answers may indicate that you consider yourself disabled. We treat that as sensitive information: we collect only what the case-review service needs, we use it only for the purpose you submitted it for, and we never use it for advertising profiles.

How we use and share it

When you submit a case-review request, we share — and may sell — your contact information and screening answers to the disability advocates, law firms, and referral networks identified in the consent language on the form, so they can contact you about your claim. This is the core service you are requesting, and we tell you exactly who may contact you at the point where you give consent. We also use service providers (hosting, email and phone validation, analytics) who process data on our behalf.

We do not share your information with anyone for purposes unrelated to your request, and we never collect payment information on this site.

Cookies

We use a session cookie required for the site's interactive features to function. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because connecting you with advocates or law firms can constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under California law, we honor opt-outs — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

Retention and security

We keep case-review records only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and audit obligations, and we maintain a suppression list so opted-out contacts stay opted out. Data is stored with access controls and encrypted in transit.
